PumperPal is our data collection and reporting system for
Pumpers. This product has been in use for 10 years and has collected data
on over 8000 leases. Over 25 million lease-days have been collected.
PRS is a production system used report daily, monthly and hourly production. The intuitive tab based user interface makes it easy to troubleshoot problems. A variety of reports and graphs are available to monitor and
pin point production problems. Data can be transferred by modem from the PumperPal system or used stand-alone.

Our History
Carroll Engineering was started in 1996. Development of the PRS
production reporting system began in the spring of 1996. PRS and
PumperPal software was released in early 1997. Carroll
Engineering has listened to customer feedback and added features to improve the
quality of data and reliability of the system. Reports and features have
been added to benefit pumpers, production foreman, production analysts, engineers, land analysts, marketing
and accounting personnel. Managers are able to evaluate results more easily
and make better decisions.

Future Plans
Carroll Engineering is
currently developing a new system for pumpers and remote users called DataPro. This system
will eventually replace the PumperPal system. PRS will continue to be the
reporting system for the Office. This program is being written using Microsoft’s
Visual Studio 2005 VB.NET language. This program uses the new SQL Server
Compact Edition database. Data will be transferred to and from an SQL Server
database using a web service. This system will simplify the process of updating
remote users. Current users of the PumperPal will be upgraded at no additional
cost other than hardware and installation fees. Carroll Engineering will
continue to support PumperPal.
